Who is L.O.H.? The Thunder Mountain Chapter Ladies of Harley (LOH) is a group of women who simply like the feel of wind through our hair. “Ride-behind” or “I’ll pass you on my own, thanks” way of enjoying Harleys – it doesn’t matter, you’re welcome. |
|
What’s L.O.H. purpose? An active group sponsored by TMHD HOG 411, the purpose of L.O.H. is to give ladies a place to enjoy our own unique outlook on the biker lifestyle. We have monthly events or rides to destinations in a manner that expresses that style ~ taking it slower, off the interstate, destination “chocolate”, etc. Funniest thing, HOG guys tend to be frequent participants in these events. That’s perfectly fine with LOH, as long as everyone’s OK with the different focus (& since events often center on food, our guys seem to be)?! |

Unique riding options – L.O.H. gives new riders a chance to request a small, women-only group ride; or a pride-protecting way to let a couple others in a HOG group ride know you need a little more room to comfortably participate. (Not a bad idea for any ‘newbie’ – but women seems a bit more inclined to ask.) L.O.H. does our best to connect women with Beginner or Advanced Rider courses, women-only or not, to enhance our ladies’ skills. |

| |
How do I connect with L.O.H.? To be an L.O.H. member you need to first be a national HOG member (full or associate); be sure & check the L.O.H box, membership is free but not automatic. You receive an L.O.H. pin, communication from national HOG, patches are available. Then contact TM L.O.H. (info below) & join in the fun. |

Social / Community events – Seems ladies groups gravitate toward getting to know each other & community service, and LOH is no exception. We regularly schedule a breakfast or supper just for the girls, with the only intention to talk, laugh, and enjoy each other. Hey we love those HOG guys we’re with but we’re more than just the ‘spouse/girlfriend of’; besides guys don’t sit still well during pure laugh sessions! At least once a year we do an LOH community or charity gig with our own special flair; recent ones have included food bank or nursing home runs and a panty raid (you have to join to get that classified info-LOL)? Other ideas? Speak up, we just may not have thought of it! |
